Abstract

This invention provides a comfort fan comprising a drive module and a plurality of fan blades. The drive module includes a hub; the drive module is configured to cause the hub to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. The plurality of fan blades are disposed on the hub and rotate with the hub; wherein the fan blades are configured with a predetermined tilt angle and curvature, so that the comfort fan generates a stable unidirectional airflow in both clockwise and counterclockwise operation.

Claims

1. A comfort fan, comprising: a drive module including a hub; the drive module being configured to cause the hub to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise; and a plurality of fan blades disposed on the hub and rotating with the hub; wherein, The fan blades are configured with a predetermined tilt angle and curvature, so that the fan can generate a stable unidirectional airflow in both forward and reverse operation.

2. The comfortable fan as described in claim 1, wherein, The predetermined tilt angle range is 7 to 11 degrees.

3. The comfortable fan as described in claim 2, wherein, The ratio of the width of one of the fan blades to its radius of curvature is 0.60 to 0.

68.

4. The comfortable fan as described in claim 1, wherein, The ratio of the width of one of the fan blades to its radius of curvature is 0.60 to 0.

68.

5. A comfortable fan as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein, The blade system has a symmetrical airfoil structure.

6. The comfort fan as described in claim 5, wherein, The airflow efficiency of this fan in reverse operation is no less than 80% of that in forward operation.

7. The comfortable fan as described in claim 6, wherein, The fan blades are made of composite materials.

8. The comfortable fan as described in claim 7, wherein, The fan blade is made of a mixture of epoxy resin and glass fiber, and the glass fiber content is at least 80 wt% based on the total weight of the fan blade.
