Abstract

This invention relates to a motorcycle safety warning system, which is connected to the motorcycle's electrical system signal and includes: a power detection module that detects the activation state of a power switch and outputs a power signal when the power switch is activated; an acceleration detection module that detects the rotation state of an accelerator lever and outputs a no-acceleration signal when no rotation is detected; a key unit that is paired with a locking device to control the locking device to unlock or lock, and to deactivate a warning state generated by the motorcycle; a distance detection module that outputs a distance signal when the key unit is detected to be outside a safe distance; and a processing unit that, upon receiving both the power signal and the no-acceleration signal, or only the distance signal, controls the motorcycle to enter a warning state and controls the motorcycle to emit a warning sound.

Claims

1. A motorcycle safety warning system, installed on a motorcycle for signal connection with an electrical system of the motorcycle, the motorcycle safety warning system comprising: a power detection module, signal-connected to the electrical system for detecting the activation state of a power switch of the motorcycle, and outputting a power signal when the power switch is detected to be activated; an acceleration detection module, signal-connected to the electrical system for detecting the rotation state of an accelerator lever of the motorcycle, and outputting a no-acceleration signal when the accelerator lever is not rotated; a key unit, signal-connected to the electrical system for pairing with a locking device of the motorcycle, thereby controlling the locking device to unlock or lock, and deactivating a warning state generated by the motorcycle; and a distance detection module, signal-connected to the electrical system and detecting the distance between itself and the key unit, outputting a distance signal when the key unit is more than a safe distance from the distance detection module. A processing unit is connected to the power detection module, the acceleration detection module, the key unit, the distance detection module, and the electrical system. Upon receiving both the power signal and the no-acceleration signal simultaneously, or upon receiving only the distance signal, the processing unit controls the motorcycle to enter the alert state. If the motorcycle fails to shut off within a certain alert time, or if it moves beyond a safe distance without shutting off, the processing unit controls the motorcycle to emit a warning sound. A main unit box contains a circuit board, on which the power detection module, the acceleration detection module, the distance detection module, and the processing unit are integrated. The main unit box is fixed to the motorcycle.
