Abstract

A livestock farming environment monitoring system is disclosed to address the common problem of insufficient active cooling in livestock sheds. The system includes: a livestock shed with several second mounting holes; several opening and closing devices for opening or closing the second mounting holes; an environmental sensing module for collecting the temperature inside the livestock shed; several environmental adjustment devices, including several water spray generators and several exhaust fans for evacuating air from the livestock shed; and a control module that, when the temperature in the livestock shed exceeds a target temperature, controls the opening and closing devices to partially or fully open the second mounting holes and controls the corresponding water spray generators and exhaust fans to operate until the temperature in the livestock shed falls below the target temperature. This can improve the survival rate of farmed animals.

Claims

1. A livestock breeding environment monitoring system, comprising: a livestock shed having a plurality of first mounting holes and a plurality of second mounting holes; a plurality of opening and closing devices disposed at the second mounting holes and used to open or close the second mounting holes; an environmental sensing module located inside the livestock shed and used to collect a set of environmental parameters inside the livestock shed, the environmental parameter set including a livestock shed temperature; a plurality of environmental adjustment devices, including a plurality of water spray generators and a plurality of exhaust fans, the water spray generators disposed at the first mounting holes and the exhaust fans disposed at the second mounting holes and used to extract air from the livestock shed; and a control module coupled to the opening and closing devices, the environmental sensing module and the environmental adjustment devices, wherein when the livestock shed temperature exceeds a target temperature, the control module controls the opening and closing devices to partially or fully open the second mounting holes, and controls the corresponding water spray generators and exhaust fans to operate until the livestock shed temperature falls within the target temperature.

2. As in request item 1, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, The control module also controls the rotation speed of these exhaust fans to adjust the air volume output of these exhaust fans under variable frequency operation.

3. As in request item 1, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, The livestock shed is divided into several breeding spaces; the environmental control equipment also includes several heat lamps, which are respectively positioned in front of the breeding spaces and coupled to the control module; when the temperature of the livestock shed is lower than a certain heat preservation temperature, the control module controls the heat lamps to start operating.

4. As in request item 1, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, These environmental control devices also include several fans installed inside the livestock shed and coupled to the control module; when the temperature of the livestock shed exceeds the target temperature, the control module controls the operation of these fans until the temperature of the livestock shed falls within the target temperature range.

5. As in request item 1, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, The control module includes a substrate and a microprocessor, both of which are hot-swappable and can be assembled onto the substrate.

6. The aquaculture environment monitoring system as requested in any of items 1 to 5, wherein, It also includes an electronic device coupled to the control module, which transmits and displays the current values of the environmental parameter set in real time on the electronic device.

7. As in request item 6, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, When the current value of the environmental parameter group exceeds a safe range, the control module sends an alarm signal to the electronic device.

8. As in request item 6, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, The electronic device is a smartphone, a tablet computer, or a laptop computer.

9. The livestock environment monitoring system of any one of claims 1 to 5 further includes a feed trough, a feed sensor and an electronic device; the feed trough includes a discharge pipe extending into the livestock shed; the feed sensor is disposed in the feed trough and is used to sense and obtain a feed remaining amount in the feed trough; the control module is coupled to the feed sensor and the electronic device and is used to transmit and display the feed remaining amount on the electronic device.

10. As requested in item 9, the aquaculture environment monitoring system, wherein, When the remaining feed amount is less than a minimum inventory level, the control module sends an alarm signal to the electronic device.
