Abstract
Claims
1. An expansion card device, adapted for housing an expansion card, and comprising: A circuit board assembly includes a circuit board body, a connector fixed to the circuit board body, and a fixing post disposed on the circuit board body, wherein the circuit board body includes a fixing hole near the fixing post; and a fastener disposed on the circuit board assembly, including a sleeve, a locking part, and a spring arm, wherein the sleeve is sleeved on the fixing post, the locking part is connected to the sleeve and located above the sleeve, one end of the spring arm is connected to the sleeve, and the other end is inserted into the fixing hole, wherein when a first end of an expansion card is inserted into the connector, a second end of the expansion card is restricted between the sleeve and the locking part.

The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the engaging portion includes a stop surface facing the circuit board body and an inclined surface facing away from the circuit board body, during the downward movement of the second end of the expansion card, the second end pushes against the inclined surface to cause the engaging portion and the sleeve to rotate relative to the fixed post, the elastic arm deforms and accumulates elastic force, and when the second end passes through the inclined surface, the elastic arm releases the accumulated elastic force, thereby causing the engaging portion and the sleeve to return to their original positions, and the second end is limited by the stop surface.

The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fastener further includes a push button connected to the engaging portion, wherein when the push button is pushed, the engaging portion and the sleeve rotate relative to the fixing post, thereby releasing the engaging portion from limiting the second end of the expansion card.
4. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fixing post includes a first latching portion near the circuit board body, and the sleeve includes a second latching portion corresponding to the first latching portion, wherein when the sleeve is fitted onto the fixing post, the second latching portion engages with the first latching portion.
5. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the first latching portion is a card groove formed by necking of the outer contour, and the second latching portion includes a hook.
6. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the elastic arm is U-shaped.
7. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the retaining post includes an upper end remote from the circuit board body, the upper end including a tool insertion portion adapted for inserting a tool to rotate the retaining post.
8. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fixing post includes an upper end remote from the circuit board body, the upper end including a screw hole, a heat sink adapted to be thermally coupled to the expansion card, the heat sink being adapted to be fixed by a locking fastener screwed into the screw hole.
9. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the circuit board body further includes a mounting hole, and the fixing post is detachably disposed in the mounting hole.
10. The expansion card device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sleeve, the engaging portion and the elastic arm are integral.
