Abstract

This invention relates to a network camera, comprising a main body, a lens, and a focusing assembly. The main body includes a motor control unit and a communication unit. The communication unit is electrically connected to the motor control unit and can signal-connect to an external host. The lens is connected to the main body and has a lens body and a focusing unit. The focusing unit is movably or rotatably mounted on the lens body and can change the lens's imaging position. The focusing assembly is mounted on the lens and has a focusing drive and a focusing motor. The focusing motor is electrically connected to the motor control unit and moves or rotates the focusing unit of the lens through the focusing drive. This allows the user to remotely send control commands to focus, eliminating the need for on-site manual operation. This not only facilitates work and ensures the safety of construction personnel but also allows for real-time adjustment when the lens loses focus due to vibration.

Claims

1. A network camera, comprising: a main body including a motor control unit; a communication unit electrically connected to the motor control unit and for signaling to an external host; a lens connected to the main body and having a lens body connected to the main body; a focusing unit movably or rotatably disposed on the lens body and capable of changing the imaging position of the lens; a focusing assembly disposed on the lens and having a focusing drive connected to the focusing unit; a focusing motor connected to the focusing drive and for moving or rotating the focusing unit of the lens via the focusing drive; the focusing motor being electrically connected to the motor control unit.

2. The webcam as claimed in claim 1, wherein the focusing portion of the lens is annular and rotatably fitted onto the lens body; the focusing drive of the focusing assembly is fitted onto the focusing portion.

3. The webcam as claimed in claim 2, wherein a plurality of first toothed portions are formed protruding on the outer annular surface of the focusing drive member, the first toothed portions being arranged along the circumferential direction of the focusing drive member; the focusing assembly has a pair of focusing gears disposed on an output shaft of the focusing motor and engaging the first toothed portions of the focusing drive member.

4. A webcam as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the lens has a zoom unit movably or rotatably disposed on the lens body and capable of changing the focal length of the lens; the webcam has a zoom assembly disposed on the lens and has a zoom drive connected to the zoom unit; a zoom motor connected to the zoom drive and moving or rotating the zoom unit of the lens through the zoom drive; the zoom motor is electrically connected to the motor control unit.

5. The webcam as claimed in claim 4, wherein the zoom portion of the lens is annular and rotatably fitted onto the lens body; the zoom drive of the zoom assembly is fitted onto the zoom portion.

6. The webcam as claimed in claim 5, wherein a plurality of second toothed portions are formed protruding on the outer annular surface of the zoom drive member, the second toothed portions being arranged along the circumferential direction of the zoom drive member; the zoom assembly has a zoom gear disposed on an output shaft of the zoom motor and engaging the second toothed portions of the zoom drive member.

7. The network camera as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the communication unit includes a wireless communication module.

8. A webcam as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the camera body is screwed to the main body and abuts against the main body with a flange face, the distance between the flange face and a photosensitive element within the main body being between 17.4 and 17.6 mm.

9. A webcam as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the camera body is screwed to the main body and abuts against the main body with a flange face, the distance between the flange face and a photosensitive element within the main body being between 12.4 and 12.6 mm.
