Abstract

A communication system for access control devices includes a card reader and an access control controller. The card reader includes an antenna and a lens; the antenna receives near-field communication signals, and the lens scans a two-dimensional barcode displayed on a mobile device, wherein the near-field communication signal and the two-dimensional barcode respectively indicate card number information. The access control controller is connected to the card reader and is used to control door opening and closing based on preset permissions and card number information.

Claims

1. A communication system for access control equipment, comprising: A card reader includes an antenna and a lens. The antenna is used to receive a near-field communication signal, and the lens is used to scan a two-dimensional barcode displayed on a mobile device, wherein the near-field communication signal and the two-dimensional barcode respectively indicate card number information; and an access control controller connected to the card reader is used to control a door opening and closing according to a preset permission and the card number information.

The access control device communication system as described in claim 1, wherein the card reader further comprises: An RF chip, connected to the antenna, is used to read the near-field communication signal to obtain the card number data; a first microcontroller unit, connected to the RF chip, is used to set the RF chip to poll between a reading mode and a tag mode; and a second microcontroller unit, connected to the first microcontroller unit and the access controller, is used to transmit the card number data to the access controller.

3. The access control device communication system as claimed in claim 2, wherein the radio frequency chip receives the near-field communication signal in the reading mode to obtain the card number data and transmits the card number data to the first microcontroller unit.

4. The access control device communication system as claimed in claim 2, wherein the radio frequency chip reads and writes the near-field communication signal in the tag mode, and transmits the card number data corresponding to the near-field communication signal to the first microcontroller unit.

The access control device communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the card reader further comprises: A third microcontroller unit, connected to the lens and the second microcontroller unit, is used to convert the two-dimensional barcode into text data and transmit it to the second microcontroller unit, wherein the second microcontroller unit is further used to obtain the card number data based on the text data.

6. The access control device communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the two-dimensional barcode is a fast response code, and the lens is used to capture the two-dimensional barcode for decoding.

7. The access control device communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the near-field communication signal is provided by the mobile device or a chip card.

The access control device communication system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the access controller includes a processing circuit for generating authentication data based on the near-field communication signal or the two-dimensional barcode, and comparing the authentication data with pre-stored data corresponding to the preset permission to control the door opening and closing.

9. The access control device communication system as claimed in claim 1 further includes a server connected to the mobile device and the access control controller for updating or synchronizing the preset permissions and storing the preset permissions in the access control controller.
