Abstract
Claims
1. An electronic device comprising: One display host; One logical host; A hinge module is connected between the display host and the logic host, which pivot relative to each other through the hinge module; and a locking module is movably assembled to the logic host and connected to the hinge module to lock or unlock the hinge module. When locked, the locking module prevents the pivoting movement of the hinge module. When unlocked, the locking module releases the hinge module to allow the hinge module to pivot. After the display host pivots and unfolds relative to the logic host through the hinge module, the electronic device is triggered by a behavior that drives the locking module to lock or release the hinge module.
2. The electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the logic host includes a control module electrically connected to the display host and the locking module, wherein when the display host switches from a first mode to a second mode and generates the triggering action, the control module senses the triggering action and drives the locking module to lock the hinge module, and when the display host closes toward the logic host from the second mode to generate another triggering action, the locking module releases the hinge module, allowing the display host to continuously pivot toward the logic host.

The electronic device as claimed in claim 2, wherein the display host includes a base and a screen, the base is connected to the logic host via the hinge module, the control module is electrically connected to the screen, and the screen and the base are coupled together in parallel to each other so that the screen switches between a first mode and a second mode relative to the base, wherein in the first mode the screen is in a landscape state relative to the base, and in the second mode the screen is in a portrait state relative to the base.

The electronic device as claimed in claim 2, wherein the display host is a touch screen, in a first mode the touch screen receives a display signal from the control module, and in a second mode the touch screen receives the display signal provided by the control module and the touch screen generates a touch signal due to the triggering action.

The electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the locking module comprises: A clutch is movably fitted onto the shaft of the rotating shaft module; And a drive assembly, movably disposed next to the clutch, such that the clutch is within the range of motion of the drive assembly, the triggering action causing the drive assembly to drive the clutch to abut against the shaft and prevent the shaft from rotating.

The electronic device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the drive assembly includes an electric actuator and a lever, the electric actuator being disposed within the logic host, the lever being pivotally disposed within the logic host, the lever having a first end and a second end located at pivotally opposite points, the first end being connected to the electric actuator, and the second end being connected to the clutch.
7. The electronic device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the logic host includes a control module electrically connected to the display host and the electric actuator.

The electronic device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the drive assembly includes a physical button and a lever disposed on the outer surface of the electronic device, the physical button being movably disposed on the logic host and partially exposing the logic host, the lever being pivotally disposed within the logic host, the lever having a first end and a second end located at pivotally opposite points, the first end being connected to the physical button, and the second end being connected to the clutch.

The electronic device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the locking module further includes a stop member disposed within the logic host, the clutch having a spring arm, the end of the spring arm having a first inclined surface and a hook portion facing away from each other, the stop portion of the stop member having a stop portion within the range of motion of the end of the spring arm, and the stop portion having a second inclined surface and a stop wall facing away from each other, wherein during the process of the clutch abutting against the shaft, the end moves toward the stop portion, the first inclined surface abuts against the second inclined surface and deforms the spring arm, until the end passes the stop portion, the spring arm resets and the hook portion engages with the stop wall.

The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the locking module further includes an unlocking member sleeved on the shaft and movably located along the shaft between a first ring tooth portion of the pivot module and the stop member, the first ring tooth portion being fixed to and surrounding the shaft, the unlocking member having a second ring tooth portion to engage with or disengage from the first ring tooth portion, wherein when the second ring tooth portion disengages from the first ring tooth portion, a third inclined surface of the unlocking member abuts against the first inclined surface to deform the spring arm and the hook portion disengages from the stop wall.

The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the locking module further comprises a first elastic member sleeved on the shaft and abutting between the unlocking member and the stop member, the elastic force of the first elastic member constantly driving the second ring tooth portion of the unlocking member to engage with the first ring tooth portion, and when the display host and the logic host are unfolded relative to each other, and the display host is closed toward the logic host, the shaft rotates to cause the first ring tooth portion to drive the second ring tooth portion to disengage from each other and drive the unlocking member to move toward the stop member and deform the first elastic member.

The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the locking module further includes a second elastic member sleeved on the shaft and abutting between the stop member and the clutch, the second elastic member constantly driving the clutch to move away from the stop member and release the shaft, the clutch deforming the second elastic member when the clutch abuts the shaft, and the second elastic member driving the clutch to reset when the hook part disengages from the stop wall.
