Abstract
Claims
1. An electrical connector comprising an insulating base and a set of insertion terminals passing through the insulating base, wherein: The insulating base has a tongue plate extending from one side of the base, and the base has at least one or more hollow slots, while the tongue plate has a guide slot. The plug-in terminal assembly is mounted on the insulating base and includes a plurality of plug-in signal terminals, a first plug-in power terminal located outside the plurality of plug-in signal terminals, and a second plug-in power terminal. The plurality of plug-in signal terminals have a plurality of plug-in sides extending to the surface of the tongue plate on one side and a plurality of positioning sides extending to the outside of the base on the other side. The first plug-in power terminal has a first power plug-in side extending to the surface of the tongue plate on one side and a plurality of first power positioning sides extending to the outside of the base on the other side. The second plug-in power terminal has a second power plug-in side extending to the surface of the tongue plate on one side and a plurality of second power positioning sides extending to the outside of the base on the other side. A waterproof unit is provided at at least one or more hollow slots in the base where the plurality of positioning sides, the plurality of first power positioning sides, and the plurality of second power positioning sides pass through.

The electrical connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein the insulating base system has a partition between the base and the tongue plate, and the length and width of the partition are greater than the length and width of the base and the tongue plate. A waterproof gasket is fitted on the surface of the partition facing the tongue plate. A plurality of hollow slots are provided at the base through which the plurality of positioning sides, the plurality of first power positioning sides and the plurality of second power positioning sides pass. A waterproof pad of the waterproof unit, which is integrally molded with insulating material by in-mold injection, is provided at each of the plurality of hollow slots and outside of a portion of the plurality of positioning sides, a portion of the plurality of first power positioning sides and a portion of the plurality of second power positioning sides. An insulating cover sheet is provided on at least one outer side of the waterproof pad.

The electrical connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the plug-in sides of the plurality of plug-in signal terminals on one side extends to the vicinity of each of the positioning sides after a 180° bend, and each of the positioning sides on the other side of the plurality of plug-in signal terminals opposite to each of the plug-in sides bends at 90°, such that each positioning side is perpendicular to each of the plug-in sides.

The electrical connector as described in claim 1, wherein the first power terminal of the plug-in terminal group has at least three or more first grooves on one side and first power positioning sides extending horizontally outward on the other two sides, and each of the first power plug-in sides extends to the vicinity of the first power positioning side after a 180° turn, and a first grounding side is provided at a 90° turn on the outer side of the two phase sides of each of the first power positioning sides; then the second power terminal has at least three or more second grooves on one side and second power positioning sides extending horizontally outward on the other two sides, and each of the second power plug-in sides extends to the vicinity of the second power positioning side after a 180° turn, and a second grounding side is provided at a 90° turn on the outer side of the two phase sides of each of the second power positioning sides.
