Abstract
A smart management system for vehicular underpasses includes a water level detector, a microcontroller, a light warning device, a voice alarm, a text display, a barrier actuator, and a barrier module. This invention is installed in vehicular underpasses. When heavy rain causes flooding, the water level detector detects the water level and transmits a signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller judges the water level based on its level: if it reaches the warning level, it controls the light warning device to emit a yellow light, the voice alarm to emit a warning message, and the text display to show a warning message; if it reaches the danger level, it further controls the light warning device to emit a red light, the voice alarm to emit a prohibition message, and the text display to show a prohibition message, and triggers the barrier actuator to activate the barrier module, lowering the barrier to prevent vehicles from entering, thereby preventing vehicles from accidentally entering flooded underpasses and achieving the purpose of maintaining traffic safety.
