Abstract

An active safety folding device for a two-wheeled vehicle side pillar includes a wheel speed sensing module, a control circuit, a servo motor, and a limit switch. This invention can be installed on a micro electric two-wheeler or motorcycle. The wheel speed sensing module detects the vehicle speed. When the system determines that the vehicle speed exceeds a threshold value and the side pillar is still in the lowered state, the control circuit drives the servo motor to automatically fold the side pillar. The limit switch is used to determine whether the folding is complete, so as to avoid the motor running idle and ensure driving safety.

Claims

1. An active safety folding device for the side pillars of a two-wheeled vehicle, comprising a wheel speed sensing module, a control circuit, a servo motor, and a limit switch, wherein: The output of the wheel speed sensing module is electrically connected to the input of the control circuit; the output of the limit switch is electrically connected to the input of the control circuit; the output of the control circuit is electrically connected to the input of the servo motor, so as to actively drive the side pillar to fold according to the vehicle speed and side pillar position signal.
