Abstract

This invention relates to an improvement in the cutting edge structure of a drill bit, comprising a drill shank and a cutting edge portion connected to one side of the drill shank. The cutting edge portion has cutting edges extending from both sides of the drill tip, allowing the drill tip and the two cutting edges to form an arc shape. Each cutting edge on both sides of the drill tip is provided with a cutting edge that can spiral back along the cutting edge portion to near the drill shank. Each cutting edge on both sides is provided with a narrow edge edge located on both sides of the cutting edge, allowing each edge edge to spiral back and extend with an equal and gradually increasing width to near the drill shank to form a side edge edge. Thus, the edge width of each side edge edge near the drill shank can be greater than the edge width of each edge edge edge, thereby improving the smoothness of drill bit drilling and the accuracy of machined holes.

Claims

1. An improved cutting edge structure for a drill bit, comprising a drill shank and a cutting edge connected to one side of the drill shank, wherein the improvement is as follows: the cutting edge extends cutting edges on both sides of the drill tip, each cutting edge on both sides having a cutting edge spirally wound around the cutting edge to near the drill shank, and each cutting edge on both sides having a top edge with a narrow cutting edge width located on both sides of the cutting edge, and each top edge extending spirally around the drill shank with an equal and gradually increasing width to form a side edge, wherein the cutting edge width of each side edge near the drill shank is greater than the cutting edge width of each top edge.

2. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 1, wherein the cutting edge portion has recessed chip removal grooves formed between each of the two cutting edges, and the width of each chip removal groove is set in the same manner as each top edge edge and each side edge edge, gradually widening from each cutting edge to near the drill shank portion.

3. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 1, wherein the cutting edge portion has recessed chip removal grooves formed between each of the two cutting edges, and the width of each chip removal groove is the same from each cutting edge on both sides to near the drill shank portion.

4. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 1, wherein the drill bit portion is provided with a first cutting edge portion, a second cutting edge portion and a third cutting edge portion adjacent to each other at a predetermined distance, and the first cutting edge portion includes a top edge cutting edge portion with a narrow cutting edge width near the two cutting edges, and the third cutting edge portion includes each of the side cutting edges portion with an expanded cutting edge width near the drill shank portion, then a second cutting edge portion is formed between the first cutting edge portion and the third cutting edge portion, and the second cutting edge portion includes a middle cutting edge portion with a cutting edge width greater than the cutting edge width of each of the top edge cutting edges and less than the cutting edge width of each of the side cutting edges.

5. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 4, wherein the length of the first cutting edge of the drill bit is less than the length of the second cutting edge, and the length of the second cutting edge is less than the length of the third cutting edge.

6. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 4, wherein the lengths of the first cutting edge, the second cutting edge, and the third cutting edge of the drill bit are the same.

7. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 4, wherein the length of the first cutting edge of the drill bit is greater than the length of the second cutting edge, and the length of the second cutting edge is greater than the length of the third cutting edge.

8. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 4, wherein the spiral winding distance of each of the top edge cutting edges on both sides of the drill bit is less than the spiral winding distance of each of the middle cutting edges, and the spiral winding distance of each of the middle cutting edges is less than the spiral winding distance of each of the side cutting edges.

9. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 4, wherein the spiral winding distance of each of the top edge cutting edges on both sides of the drill bit, the spiral winding distance of each of the middle cutting edges, and the spiral winding distance of each of the side cutting edges are of the same length.

10. The improved cutting edge structure of the drill bit as described in claim 4, wherein the spiral winding distance of each of the top edge cutting edges on both sides of the drill bit is greater than the spiral winding distance of each of the middle cutting edges, and the spiral winding distance of each of the middle cutting edges is greater than the spiral winding distance of each of the side cutting edges.
