Abstract
Claims
1. A cylindrical DC power socket, comprising: An insulating housing comprises, from the outside to the inside, an outer base, a recessed ring, and a central post, the central post having a signal socket; a signal terminal fixed within the insulating housing and including a L-shaped contact portion that passes through the signal socket of the insulating housing; a positive terminal fixed within the insulating housing and including at least three first elastic contacts, the bent portions of which pass through the central post and protrude outward within the recessed ring of the insulating housing; wherein the free ends of the first elastic contacts are independent and not connected; and a negative terminal fixed within the insulating housing and including at least three second elastic contacts, the bent portions of which pass through the outer base and protrude inward within the recessed ring of the insulating housing; wherein the free ends of the second elastic contacts are independent and not connected.
2. The cylindrical DC power socket as described in claim 1 further includes a detection terminal fixed within the outer seat of the insulating housing, and includes an elastic arm that passes through the outer seat and protrudes inward within the recessed annular portion of the insulating housing, and is shorter than the second elastic contacts.
3. The cylindrical DC power socket as described in claim 1 or 2 further includes a metal housing that covers the insulating housing, and a circular opening is formed on the front side of the recessed ring portion of the housing, and the circular opening extends forward with a flange, and grounding feet are integrally extended on the two opposite outer sides of the metal housing.
4. The cylindrical DC power socket as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the signal terminal is fixed inside the central post of the insulating housing and extends rearward from the rear of the insulating housing and downwards with a first soldering foot.
5. The cylindrical DC power socket as claimed in claim 3, wherein the signal terminal is fixed inside the central post of the insulating housing and extends rearward from the rear of the insulating housing and downwards with a first soldering foot.
6. The cylindrical DC power socket as claimed in claim 3, wherein the positive terminal is fixed inside the central column of the insulating housing, and the other ends of the at least three first elastic contact portions opposite to their free ends are integrally connected to a first connection portion, and the first connection portion is U-shaped and extends rearward with parallel second welding feet.
7. The cylindrical DC power socket as described in claim 6, wherein the negative terminal is fixed within the outer base of the insulating housing, and the at least three second elastic contact portions are integrally connected to a second connection portion at their opposite ends relative to their free ends, and the second connection portion is annular and extends rearward to a U-shaped third welding leg.
8. The cylindrical DC power socket as claimed in claim 7, wherein the bent portions of the at least three first elastic contacts protruding outward from the concave ring portion and the bent portions of the at least three second elastic contacts protruding inward from the concave ring portion are partially staggered.
9. The cylindrical DC power socket as claimed in claim 8, wherein the at least three first resilient contacts are located at 0°, 90°, and 180° positions of the recessed ring.
10. The cylindrical DC power socket as claimed in claim 9, wherein the at least three second resilient contacts comprise six second resilient contacts, and the six second resilient contacts are located at 0°, 45°, 135°, 180°, 225°, and 315° positions of the recessed ring.
