Abstract

This disclosure provides a quartz urn, comprising: an urn body and an urn lid. The urn body is made of a mixture of silica sand and an inorganic material and is colored. A flange is circumferentially formed on the top surface of the urn body. The urn lid is made of a mixture of silica sand and the inorganic material and is colored. A groove is recessed on the bottom surface of the urn lid. The urn lid can cover the top of the urn body, and the flange and the groove can fit together. By adding the inorganic material, a uniform and stable color development effect is achieved.

Claims

1. A quartz urn, comprising: a body made of silica sand and an inorganic material and having a color, wherein a flange is provided around the top surface of the body; and a lid made of silica sand and the inorganic material and having a color, wherein a groove is recessed on the bottom surface of the lid, the lid being able to cover the top of the body, and the flange and the groove being able to fit together.

2. The quartz urn as described in claim 1, wherein, The jar body and lid are formed by heating silica sand to a completely liquid state to create a liquefied silica substrate. The liquefied silica substrate is then placed in a pressure cooker and subjected to a first pressure followed by pressure and cooling. When the temperature reaches a first temperature, an inorganic material is added to produce a colored liquefied silica substrate. The colored liquefied silica substrate is then subjected to a second pressure followed by pressure and cooling. When the temperature reaches a second temperature, the colored liquefied silica substrate forms a hexagonal crystal column structure. Pressure is then stopped, and the substrate is cooled to a third temperature. The colored liquefied silica substrate is then removed from the pressure cooker and placed in a sand pile for annealing to form an initial colored substrate. This initial colored substrate is then cut using a cutting machine to produce an initial colored finished product. Finally, the initial colored finished product undergoes surface finishing processing.

3. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, This high temperature ranges from 2300 to 2700 degrees Celsius.

4. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, The first pressure is 2 to 3 atmospheres, and the first temperature is 1400 to 1800 degrees Celsius.

5. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, The second pressure is 2 to 3 atmospheres, and the second temperature is 500 to 700 degrees Celsius.

6. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, The third temperature is 60 to 70 degrees Celsius; the annealing time is 5 to 7 months.

7. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, The initial coloring substrate is cut into an arc shape, and the cylindrical groove is removed from the initial coloring substrate to form the initial coloring processed product.

8. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, The initial colored product is then glazed and polished to create the quartz urn.

9. The quartz urn as described in claim 2, wherein, The weight percentage of the inorganic material added to the liquefied silica substrate ranges from 1% to 5% of the weight of the liquefied silica substrate.

10. The quartz urn as described in claim 9, wherein, The inorganic material is one of lithium, silver, corundum, boron, manganese, copper, zirconium, or a combination thereof.
