Abstract

A credit card transaction system supporting customized offer recommendations is adapted to communicate with a client electronic device operated by a customer, and includes a storage unit and a processing unit electrically connected thereto. The storage unit stores historical transaction data of the customer's credit card and N credit card spending offer schemes. The processing unit generates multiple spending behavior characteristics corresponding to the customer based on the historical transaction data. Based on these spending behavior characteristics, the processing unit generates multiple sets of expected usage benefit data corresponding to each of the credit card spending offer schemes. Based on the expected usage benefit data, the processing unit generates a scheme combination suggestion corresponding to the customer's credit card and transmits the scheme combination suggestion to the client electronic device.

Claims

1. A credit card transaction system supporting customized offer recommendations, adapted to communicate with a client electronic device operated by a customer, and comprising: a storage unit storing historical transaction data of a credit card of the customer and N credit card spending offer schemes, N being greater than or equal to 3; and a processing unit electrically connected to the storage unit; the processing unit generating multiple consumption behavior characteristics corresponding to the customer based on the historical transaction data; the processing unit generating multiple expected usage benefit data corresponding to the credit card spending offer schemes based on the consumption behavior characteristics; the processing unit generating a scheme combination suggestion corresponding to the customer's credit card based on the expected usage benefit data, and transmitting the scheme combination suggestion to the client electronic device, the scheme combination suggestion indicating n of the credit card spending offer schemes, n being greater than or equal to 2 and less than N; the processing unit receiving scheme combination setting data corresponding to the customer's credit card from the client electronic device, the scheme combination setting data indicating m of the credit card spending offer schemes, m being greater than or equal to 2 and less than or equal to n; When the processing unit receives a card swipe request corresponding to the customer's credit card, the processing unit determines whether the card swipe request conforms to one of the credit card spending discount schemes indicated by the scheme combination setting information; when the processing unit determines that the card swipe request conforms to one of the credit card spending discount schemes indicated by the scheme combination setting information, the processing unit generates a corresponding discount record according to the conforming credit card spending discount scheme.

2. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, One of these consumer behavior characteristics is a preferred merchant category.

3. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, One of these consumer behavior characteristics is a consumption frequency.

4. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, One of these consumer behavior characteristics is a distribution of spending amounts.

5. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, One of these consumer behavior characteristics is a consumption cycle.

6. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, Each of these expected benefit data includes an expected return value.

7. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, Each of these expected benefits includes a predicted probability of use.

8. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, Each of these expected benefit data includes a predicted probability of achieving a preferential threshold.

9. A credit card transaction system that supports customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, Each of these expected benefits includes an expected unused benefit loss.

10. A credit card transaction system supporting customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, When the processing unit generates a suggested combination of plans for the customer’s credit card based on the expected usage benefit data, it uses an optimization algorithm.

11. A credit card transaction system supporting customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, When the processing unit generates a suggested combination of options for the customer’s credit card based on the expected usage benefit data, it uses a combination selection strategy algorithm.

12. A credit card transaction system supporting customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, When the processing unit generates a suggested combination of options for the customer’s credit card based on the expected usage benefit data, it uses a multi-objective decision model.

13. A credit card transaction system supporting customized offer recommendations as described in claim 1, wherein, After receiving the plan combination setting information corresponding to the customer's credit card from the client electronic device, the processing unit generates a subscription expiration time based on a subscription period; the processing unit determines whether the current time has reached the subscription expiration time; when the processing unit determines whether the current time has reached the subscription expiration time, the processing unit again executes the steps of generating such consumption behavior characteristics, generating such expected usage benefit data, generating the plan combination suggestion, and transmitting the plan combination suggestion to the client electronic device.
