Abstract

An earthquake simulation platform structure is disclosed to address the issue of high cost of conventional earthquake simulation equipment. It comprises: a base having a bottom plate with a plurality of positioning portions on its top surface, each positioning portion having a first radial dimension; a plurality of elastic bodies, each having a predetermined elastic force and a second radial dimension larger than the first radial dimension, the plurality of elastic bodies being respectively disposed on each of the positioning portions, or selectively disposed on a portion of the positioning portions; and a standing plate having opposing bottom and top surfaces, the bottom surface positioned above the plurality of elastic bodies. This allows users to experience a wider range of simulated multi-directional shaking conditions during an earthquake.

Claims

1. An earthquake simulation platform structure, comprising: a base having a bottom plate, the top surface of the bottom plate having a plurality of positioning portions, each positioning portion having a first radial dimension; a plurality of elastic bodies, each having a predetermined elastic force, each elastic body having a second radial dimension larger than the first radial dimension, the plurality of elastic bodies being respectively disposed in each of the positioning portions, or selectively disposed in a portion of the positioning portions; and a standing plate having opposing bottom and top surfaces, the bottom surface being positioned above the plurality of elastic bodies.

2. As in request item 1, the earthquake simulation platform construction includes, Each positioning part is a recessed hole or a through hole.

3. As in request item 1, the earthquake simulation platform construction includes, The base system has a frame that is disposed along the perimeter of the base plate.

4. As in request item 3, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, The elastomer is a spherical shape.

5. As in request item 4, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, The elastomer is a tennis ball.

6. As in request item 2, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, The base consists of a first base and a second base connected to each other.

7. As in request item 6, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, At least one connector is fixed to the bottom surface of the first base and the second base.

8. As in request item 7, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, The at least one connector is provided along the periphery of the bottom surface of the first base and the second base.

9. As in request item 7, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, The first base and the second base each have a frame, which are arranged around the top surface of the base plate and each has a notch. After the first base and the second base are connected, the two notches are connected.

10. As in request item 9, the earthquake simulation platform construction, wherein, The standing board consists of a first standing board and a second standing board connected to each other, and at least one connector is fixed to the bottom surface of the first standing board and the second standing board.

11. As in request item 10, the earthquake simulation platform construction includes, The standing board is located within the area enclosed by the frame, and the at least one connector does not contact the plurality of elastic bodies.
