Abstract
Claims
1. An electrical connector plug with resistance and spark protection, comprising: a plug housing having a spacer dividing the space inside the plug housing into a main slot and a secondary slot, the bottom of the main slot having a main insertion port and the bottom of the secondary slot having a secondary insertion port; a plug main terminal having an insulating ring, and a metal ring and a metal segment disposed at both ends of the insulating ring, the insulating ring separating the metal ring and the metal segment from electrical conduction, the metal ring, the insulating ring and the metal segment being joined together to form a hollow space inside, and the metal segment having an outwardly extending main shoulder; A resistor, which is elongated and has metal electrodes at both ends, is welded to a metal ring with one metal electrode and to a metal tube with the other metal electrode. The resistor is located in the main slot, and the metal ring and insulating ring of the plug main terminal are located in the main slot. A portion of the metal tube is located in the main slot, and the main insertion port is connected to the hollow space of the plug main terminal. The slot wall of the main slot surrounds and restricts one side of the resistor and one side of the plug main terminal so that they do not move laterally. A plug secondary terminal, at least a portion of which is tubular and has a tubular internal space, with a portion located within the secondary slot, the secondary insertion port communicating with the tubular internal space of the plug secondary terminal, the plug secondary terminal having an outwardly extending secondary shoulder; and a plug socket having a main conduit, a secondary conduit, and a top abutment post, the plug socket being assembled to the plug housing, wherein in the assembled state, the main conduit is for partial insertion of the plug main terminal, and one end of the main conduit abuts against the main shoulder, the secondary conduit is for partial insertion of the plug secondary terminal, and one end of the secondary conduit abuts against the secondary shoulder, and the top abutment post abuts against one end of the resistor, thereby confining the plug main terminal, the plug secondary terminal, and the resistor within the plug housing and preventing them from dislodging.
2. The electrical connector plug with resistance and spark protection as described in claim 1, wherein: The plug housing has a main flange on the side wall of the main slot and a secondary flange on the side wall of the secondary slot. The main shoulder of the plug main terminal abuts against the main flange, and the secondary shoulder of the plug secondary terminal abuts against the secondary flange.
3. The electrical connector plug with resistance and spark protection according to claim 1, wherein: The plug housing forms a plurality of hooks outward, and the plug base has a plurality of snap-fit surfaces. When the plug base is assembled into the plug housing, the plurality of snap-fit surfaces hold the plurality of hooks in place.
4. The electrical connector plug with resistance and spark protection according to claim 1, wherein: The main terminal of the plug is positioned with one end of the metal ring abutting against the bottom of the main slot, and one end of the secondary terminal of the plug abutting against the bottom of the secondary slot.
5. The electrical connector plug with resistance and spark protection according to claim 1, wherein: When the plug socket is assembled into the plug housing, a portion of the plug housing system is located within the plug socket and surrounds the main conduit and the auxiliary conduit.
6. An electrical connector plug and socket assembly with resistance and spark protection, comprising: an electrical connector plug and an electrical connector socket, the electrical connector plug being as described in claim 1; the electrical connector socket having a socket housing, a socket main terminal and a socket secondary terminal; the socket housing having an insertion space for the plug housing portion to be inserted, the socket main terminal and the socket secondary terminal being located within the insertion space, wherein when the plug housing is inserted into the insertion space, the socket main terminal is inserted into the main insertion port and enters the hollow space of the plug main terminal, and contacts the metal ring and the metal tube for electrical conduction, while the socket secondary terminal is inserted into the secondary insertion port and enters the tubular internal space of the plug secondary terminal, and contacts the plug secondary terminal for electrical conduction.
7. The electrical connector plug and socket assembly with resistance and spark protection as described in claim 6, wherein: The plug housing has a main flange on the side wall of the main slot and a secondary flange on the side wall of the secondary slot. The main shoulder of the plug main terminal abuts against the main flange, and the secondary shoulder of the plug secondary terminal abuts against the secondary flange.
8. The electrical connector plug and socket assembly with resistance and spark protection as described in claim 6, wherein: The plug housing forms a plurality of hooks outward, and the plug base has a plurality of snap-fit surfaces. When the plug base is assembled into the plug housing, the plurality of snap-fit surfaces hold the plurality of hooks in place.
9. The electrical connector plug and socket assembly with resistance and spark protection according to claim 6, wherein: The main terminal of the plug is positioned with one end of the metal ring abutting against the bottom of the main slot, and one end of the secondary terminal of the plug abutting against the bottom of the secondary slot.
10. The electrical connector plug and socket assembly with resistance and spark protection according to claim 6, wherein: When the plug socket is assembled into the plug housing, a portion of the plug housing system is located within the plug socket and surrounds the main conduit and the auxiliary conduit.
