Rectangular base with round opening food container

Abstract

A rectangular-bottomed, round-opening lunchbox includes a box body comprising a bottom plate and a side plate. The bottom plate is rectangular, and the side plate is connected to the perimeter of the bottom plate. The upper edge of the side plate forms four arcuate portions corresponding to the four corners of the bottom plate. An arcuate portion is formed between any two adjacent arcuate portions, and each arcuate portion is connected to any two adjacent arcuate portions. The four arcuate portions and the four arcuate portions together surround and define an opening. The side plate and the bottom plate enclose an accommodating space, thereby improving the capacity and aesthetics of the rectangular-bottomed, round-opening lunchbox.

Claims

1. A rectangular base with a circular opening, comprising: a box body, including a base plate and a wall surface, the base plate being rectangular, the wall surface being connected to the periphery of the base plate, and the upper edge of the wall surface forming four arcuate portions corresponding to the four corners of the base plate, an arcuate portion being formed between any two adjacent arcuate portions, and each of the arcuate portions being connected to any two adjacent arcuate portions, the four arcuate portions and the four arcuate portions together defining an opening, and the wall surface and the base plate enclosing an accommodating space.

A rectangular base plate with a circular opening as described in claim 1, wherein the upper edge of the wall surface forms a rolled edge; a top cover is provided to match the box body, the top cover including a middle part and a peripheral part, the peripheral part being integrally and circumferentially connected to the middle part, and a rolled edge groove being formed on the peripheral part to match the shape of the rolled edge, the rolled edge groove being fitted onto the rolled edge.

The rectangular base with a circular opening as described in claim 2, wherein the top cover is made of a light-transmitting plastic material, the middle part has a top surface, the top surface is rectangular; the top cover includes four ribs, the four ribs are respectively formed on the four sides of the top surface and protrude from the top surface.

4. A rectangular base plate with a circular opening as described in claim 3, wherein the top surface forms a corner portion corresponding to the portion between two adjacent ribs, and a vent is formed at at least one corner portion of such corner portions.

5. A rectangular base with a circular opening as described in claim 2, wherein the top cover includes a pull tab connected to the perimeter.

6. A rectangular base with a circular opening as described in claim 1, wherein the box is made of coated paperboard and a protrusion is formed in the middle of the base, the protrusion being rectangular.
