Abstract

This innovative dual-wire stretchable charging module is compatible with embedded boxes in walls, furniture, and other installations. It features two charging cables: a fixed short cable and a stretchable long cable. The fixed short cable, which cannot be stretched or deformed, is used to connect to the built-in USB charger in the embedded box. The stretchable long cable is normally retracted for storage and can be extended to charge electronic devices. Electrical signal communication between the fixed short cable and the stretchable long cable is completed within the charging module, eliminating the need for external wiring. This innovative module employs an integrated embedded structure design, allowing direct embedding into embedded boxes. This solves the problems of traditional exposed charging cables being messy, space-consuming, prone to aging and damage, and unsightly. The dual-wire structure also caters to both power supply and device charging needs, making it suitable for various embedded installation scenarios such as home decoration, office furniture, and restaurant cabinets, offering exceptional practicality.

Claims

1. A dual-wire stretchable charging module for installation in an embedded pre-embedded box, comprising: a module housing, a fixed short wire, a stretchable long wire, a telescopic storage mechanism, and a conductive connection component; the module housing is adapted to the size of an internal cavity of the embedded pre-embedded box and can be embedded and fixed within the embedded pre-embedded box; the fixed short wire is a non-stretchable rigid connecting wire and is fixedly installed on one side of the module housing, the length of the fixed short wire is 15 to 50 mm, and one end of the fixed short wire is provided with a USB connector for plugging into a USB charger built into the embedded pre-embedded box; the stretchable long wire is stored inside the module housing and cooperates with the telescopic storage mechanism to achieve telescopic rebound, the maximum stretch length of the stretchable long wire after stretching is 300 to 500 mm, and one extended end of the stretchable long wire is provided with a device charging connector; the fixed short wire and the stretchable long wire are electrically connected through the conductive connection component inside the module housing to form an integrated charging circuit.

2. The dual-wire stretchable charging module as described in claim 1, wherein: The telescopic storage mechanism includes a spiral spring, a winding reel, and a positioning buckle. The winding reel is rotatably mounted inside the module housing, and the stretchable long line is wound around the outside of the winding reel. The spiral spring connects the winding reel to the inner wall of the module housing. The positioning buckle is located on the side of the winding reel and is used to lock the stretchable long line at any length after it is stretched, and to unlock and spring back for storage with a light pull.

3. The dual-wire stretchable charging module as described in claim 1, wherein: The conductive connection assembly includes a conductive copper busbar, at least one insulating encapsulant, and multiple terminals. The conductive copper busbar is respectively connected to the conductive core wire of the fixed short wire and the conductive core wire of the stretchable long wire. The connection points of the conductive copper busbar with the fixed short wire and the stretchable long wire form conductive connection nodes. The at least one insulating encapsulant fills the outside of the conductive connection nodes to achieve insulation protection. The terminals are respectively disposed at the connection positions of the conductive copper busbar with the conductive core wire of the fixed short wire and the conductive core wire of the stretchable long wire, thereby reinforcing the conductive core wires and preventing them from falling off.

4. The dual-wire stretchable charging module as described in claim 1, wherein, The module housing is made of flame-retardant polycarbonate (PC) material, and has a snap-fit fastener on the outside. This snap-fit fastener is used to snap and fix the module to the inner wall of the embedded box, thereby making it easy to install and remove.

5. The dual-wire stretchable charging module as described in claim 1, wherein, The fixed short wire uses a pure copper core wire, which is wrapped with an insulating sheath made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The fixed short wire is non-stretchable, thereby maintaining the stability of the plug-in positioning.

6. The dual-wire stretchable charging module as described in claim 1, wherein, The outer layer of the stretchable cord is made of thermoplastic elastomer or thermoplastic polyurethane. After shrinking, the stretchable cord can be stored inside the module housing without being exposed.

7. The dual-wire stretchable charging module as described in claim 1, wherein, The device's charging connector can be any one or a combination of Type-C, Lightning, and USB-A.
