Abstract

A vehicle fire extinguishing device mainly comprises a main unit and a detection element integrated into the main unit. The main unit has at least two firing mechanisms and a fire blanket. Each firing mechanism has a first hammer, and a braking element is located at its activation switch. The fire blanket is connected to the first and second hammers respectively by a pull rope, and is placed in the main unit after being appropriately folded back and forth. The detection element is connected to the braking element. The main unit and detection element are installed at a suitable position above a parked vehicle. When the vehicle catches fire due to a malfunction, the detection element detects the fire and activates the braking element, causing the firing mechanisms to fire the first hammers outward. The flying first hammers pull the fire blanket out of the main unit and onto the vehicle, covering the burning vehicle in the early stages of the fire to isolate it from the air, block heat radiation and toxic smoke, thereby achieving an instantaneous fire extinguishing effect.

Claims

1. A vehicle fire extinguishing device, comprising: a main unit, and a detection element coupled to the main unit; wherein, The main unit is generally box-shaped, with an opening at its front edge and a hinged front cover. At least two firing mechanisms are located inside the main unit, each comprising a first hammer and a braking element. A fire blanket is folded and placed inside the main unit, its front and rear ends connected to the first hammer and a second hammer by pull ropes. The detection element is connected to the braking element to detect flame signals, smoke signals generated in the early stages of a fire, and abnormal ambient temperature signals. Upon detecting these signals, the fire blanket is activated. The braking mechanism causes the firing structure to fire the first hammer outward, pulling the fire blanket out from the main unit and covering the burning vehicle in the early stages of the fire to isolate it from the air, block heat radiation and toxic smoke, thereby achieving an instant fire extinguishing effect. The lower edge of the front cover is hinged to the lower edge of the opening of the main unit to form a hinged shape. The upper edge of the opening of the main unit and the upper edge of the front cover are respectively provided with corresponding magnets. By means of the attraction of the magnets, the front cover closes to the front edge of the main unit.

2. The vehicle fire extinguishing device as described in claim 1, wherein, The firing mechanism is equipped with a start switch, and the braking element is located on the start switch.

3. The vehicle fire extinguishing device as described in claim 2, wherein, The braking component can be a solenoid valve, which is used to press the start switch.

4. The vehicle fire extinguishing device as described in claim 1, wherein, The pull rope is located at an appropriate distance inward on both sides of the fire blanket. Its front end protrudes from the front edge of the fire blanket and is connected to the first counterweight, while its rear end protrudes from the rear edge of the fire blanket and is connected to the second counterweight.

5. The vehicle fire extinguishing device as described in claim 1, wherein, The fire blanket is made by folding both sides inwards, then folding the folded fire blanket back and forth several times, and finally placing the folded fire blanket inside the main unit.
