Abstract
Claims
1. A single-pole tri-band antenna, comprising: An antenna structure and a motherboard; The antenna structure includes: a circuit board, which is square in shape and has a front side, a back side, a top side, a bottom side, and two side sides; a first radiating layer disposed on the front side of the circuit board, the first radiating layer including a first lateral metal layer and a first vertical metal layer electrically connected to the first lateral metal layer perpendicularly to each other; a second radiating layer disposed on the back side of the circuit board, the second radiating layer including a second vertical metal layer and a second lateral metal layer electrically connected to the second vertical metal layer; a conductive portion passing through the circuit board to electrically connect the first lateral metal layer of the first radiating layer and the second vertical metal layer of the second radiating layer; an electrode layer disposed on the bottom side of the circuit board and electrically connected to the first radiating layer and the second radiating layer; and the front and back sides of the motherboard each have a symmetrical first ground layer, a second ground layer, a first clearance area, and a second clearance area; the first clearance area includes a pad and a signal feed layer. The electrode layer is electrically fixed to the pad to generate a single-pole tri-band antenna.
2. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 1, wherein, The first transverse metal layer and the first longitudinal metal layer are electrically connected to form an L-shaped first radiating layer; wherein the width of the first transverse metal layer is greater than the width of the first longitudinal metal layer.
3. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 2, wherein, The first radiating layer generates a 2.4 GHz band through a first current path that forms a long path, and its harmonics generate a 6-7 GHz band.
4. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 3, wherein, The second longitudinal metal layer and the second transverse metal layer are electrically connected to form an L-shaped second radiating layer.
5. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 4, wherein, The second radiation layer is a short-path second current path, and the frequency harmonics generated by the short-path second current path and the long-path first current path act simultaneously on the 6-7GHz frequency band.
6. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 1, wherein, The pad includes a first pad and a second pad, with the first pad and the second pad electrically fixing the electrode layer of the antenna structure.
7. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 6, wherein, A metal line segment extends from one side of the first pad. The metal line segment is located between the second pad and the first ground layer. The metal line segment is electrically connected to the first ground layer by a matching element. After the antenna structure is electrically connected to the motherboard, the metal line segment forms a third current path. The third current path is the return-to-ground path on the motherboard, generating a high-frequency 5-6GHz band.
8. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 7, wherein, The signal feed layer includes a first metal line and a second metal line, and the first metal line and the second metal line are electrically connected to the matching element; the first metal line is electrically connected to the first pad and the matching element is electrically connected to the first ground layer.
9. A monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 7 or 8, wherein, The matching element is a capacitor or an inductor.
10. The monopole tri-band antenna as described in claim 6, wherein, The motherboard can extend the current path of the 2.4GHz antenna at the tail of the second pad to form a fourth current path.
