Abstract

This invention proposes a waste edge material winding machine, which includes a housing assembly, a winding assembly, a waste edge material tension control assembly, a power control assembly, and a power supply assembly. The operation between the first and second main pulleys in the winding assembly and the guide rod in the waste edge material tension control assembly forms an active tension control for the waste edge material, preventing it from breaking due to excessive tension during winding.

Claims

1. A waste edge material winding machine, comprising: a housing assembly, including: a support base assembly, including a main base and an auxiliary base fixed beside the main base; an electrical control compartment installed on one side of the main base; and a power compartment installed on the other side of the main base, with a winding space between the electrical control compartment and the power compartment; a winding assembly, including: a plurality of winding rods arranged in parallel for winding waste edge material; two first pneumatic cylinders respectively installed in the electrical control compartment and the power compartment, wherein the piston of each first pneumatic cylinder extends movably into the winding space to detachably and rotatably mount the winding rods; a reciprocating screw parallel to the winding rods, with both ends rotatably mounted on two fixed plates of the auxiliary base; and two guide rods parallel to the reciprocating screw, with both ends rotatably mounted on the two fixed plates. An electric motor, mounted on one of the fixed plates and connected to the reciprocating screw, is controlled to rotate the reciprocating screw; and a scrap material displacement device, mounted on the reciprocating screw and the guide rods, is driven by the reciprocating screw to move back and forth between the two ends of the reciprocating screw; a scrap material tension control assembly, comprising: A swing structure comprises a rotating rod, a feeding rod, and a connecting rod. One end of the connecting rod is fixed to the end of the rotating rod, and the feeding rod is rotatably connected to the other end of the connecting rod. The rotating rod is rotatably mounted on a vertical plate of a waste material displacement device. Waste material is wound onto the receiving rod via the waste material displacement device below the feeding rod. When the tension on the waste material increases, it pulls the feeding rod upward; when the tension on the waste material decreases, the feeding rod moves downward due to its weight, synchronously driving the rotating rod to rotate. A tension control system is connected to the rotating rod to detect the rotation direction and angle of the rotating rod. After the rotating rod rotates beyond a control angle range from a preset position, it reverses the rotation to return to the preset position. A power control assembly includes: a servo motor mounted in the power compartment and rotatably connected to the receiving rod; and a servo motor controller mounted in the electrical control compartment and signal-connected to the servo motor. A programmable logic controller is installed in the electrical control compartment and is signal-connected to the servo motor controller, the electric motor, and the tension control system. It controls the operation of the tension control system and the start and stop of the electric motor. By adjusting the rotation direction and angle of the rotating rod, the servo motor controller adjusts the speed of the servo motor, thereby controlling the tension of the scrap material within a limited range.

2. The waste edge winding machine as claimed in claim 1 further includes a power supply assembly installed in the electrical control compartment, comprising: a transformer group for stepping down AC power from the external power grid and converting the stepped-down AC power into DC power; a circuit breaker electrically connected to the transformer group for disconnecting the electrical connection when the output current of the transformer group is too large; and a power supply unit electrically coupled to the circuit breaker and electrically connected to the first pneumatic cylinder, the electric motor, the tension control system, the servo motor, the servo motor controller, and the programmable logic controller to provide the power required for operation respectively.

3. The waste edge winding machine as claimed in claim 2, wherein the electrical control compartment and the power compartment each have a door, and the programmable logic controller and the servo motor controller are mounted on the door of the power compartment.

4. The waste edge winding machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the oscillating structure further comprises: a linkage plate locked to the end of the rotating rod extending into the electrical control compartment and rotating synchronously with the rotating rod; and a counterweight valve key pivotally connected to the linkage plate, using its weight to counteract part of the weight of the feeding rod itself that causes the feeding rod to move downward.

5. The waste edge winding machine as claimed in claim 4, wherein the tension control system further comprises: a fisheye connector pivotally connected to one end of the linkage plate; a position control connecting plate horizontally fixed to the end of the fisheye connector; a linear variable displacement sensor coupled to the position control connecting plate and fixed to the vertical plate, detecting the vertical displacement of the position control connecting plate to push back the rotation direction and angle of the rotating rod; a second pneumatic cylinder coupled to the position control connecting plate and mounted on the vertical plate parallel to the linear variable displacement sensor; an electro-pneumatic proportional valve connected to the second pneumatic cylinder, controlled by the programmable logic controller to drive the second pneumatic cylinder to adjust the vertical position of the position control connecting plate; and a pressure regulating valve connected to the electro-pneumatic proportional valve, controlling the gas from an external pneumatic source to enter the electro-pneumatic proportional valve to adjust the pressure in the second pneumatic cylinder.

6. The waste edge material winding machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the waste edge material displacement device further comprises: a sliding base slidably mounted on the reciprocating screw and the guide rods, the upright plate being fixed to the sliding base; two main pulleys rotatably mounted on the upright plate, wherein waste edge material successively passes above a first main pulley, below the feed rod, and above a second main pulley; an auxiliary pulley for adjusting the waste edge material passing through the second main pulley to wind it onto the receiving rod; and a protective housing rotatably connected to the upright plate to protect components mounted on one side of the upright plate.

7. The waste edge material winding machine as claimed in claim 6, wherein a pair of limiting slide bars are further installed on the outer sides of the first main pulley and the auxiliary pulley, and the waste edge material moves through the center of the two pairs of limiting slide bars to prevent the waste edge material from falling off the ends of the first main pulley and the auxiliary pulley.

8. The waste edge material winding machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing assembly further comprises: a slide rail mounted above the support base assembly; and a sliding protective cover slidably mounted on the slide rail and sliding between the electrical control compartment and the winding space to protect the operator from being caught in the winding rod when the waste edge material rotates.

9. The waste edge winding machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein two limiting buffer rods are installed on the upright plate, the two limiting buffer rods being located on both sides of the connecting rod, for preventing the connecting rod from continuing to rotate in one direction and absorbing its kinetic energy when the rotation amplitude of the connecting rod is too large.

10. The waste edge winding machine as claimed in claim 2, wherein a touch panel is further installed outside the electrical control compartment, the touch panel being electrically connected to the power supply and signal-connected to the programmable logic controller (PLC) for controlling the operation of the PLC and displaying data during the operation of the PLC.
