Abstract
Claims
1. A bicycle frame shock absorber, mounted on a bicycle frame (50), the frame (50) having a front frame (51) and a rear frame (52), the bicycle frame shock absorber comprising: a connector (10) having a set of terminals (11) and a mating end (12) opposite to the set of terminals (11), the set of terminals (11) having a through hole (13) extending to the mating end (12); a first locking fastener (20) passing through the through hole (13) of the connector (10) along a first axial direction (L1) for fixing the connector (10) to the rear frame (52); and a shock absorber body (30) having a set of terminals (31) at one end and a movable fastening part (32) at the other end, wherein, The assembly part (31) engages with the assembly end (11) of the connector (10), and the periphery of the assembly part (31) extends toward the connector (10) with at least one extension (312). The extension (312) is for at least one second fastener (40) to be locked in a direction different from the first axis (L1), thereby locking the shock absorber body (30) onto the connector (10); the movable fastening part (32) is used to engage with one of the latching mechanisms (511) of the front frame (51).
2. The bicycle frame shock absorber as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one second locking member (40) is locked along a second axis (L2), and the first axis (L1) and the second axis (L2) form a non-parallel angle.
3. The bicycle frame shock absorber as described in claim 1, wherein the mating end (12) of the connector (10) has a concave arc shape in the side view to fit with a load-bearing structural tube surface of the rear frame (52).
4. The bicycle frame shock absorber as described in claim 1 or 3, wherein at least one pad (14) is attached to the end face of the mating end (12) of the connector (10).
5. The bicycle frame shock absorber as described in claim 1, wherein the peripheral outer wall of the connector (10) is recessed with at least one engaging groove (15), and the bottom surface of the engaging groove (15) is provided with at least one screw hole (16); the at least one extension (312) of the shock absorber body (30) is correspondingly fitted into the engaging groove (15), and the extension (312) is provided with at least one locking hole (313) for the second locking fastener (40) to pass through and be screwed and locked in the screw hole (16).
6. The bicycle frame shock absorber as claimed in claim 1, wherein the through hole (13) of the connector (10) is a countersunk hole, and the first locking fastener (20) has an enlarged head (21) that is fully recessed or partially contained within the countersunk hole when the first locking fastener (20) is fully locked.
7. The bicycle frame shock absorber as described in claim 6, wherein a recessed avoidance groove (311) is provided at the center of the end face of the assembly portion (31) of the shock absorber body (30), the geometry and size of the avoidance groove (311) corresponding to the head (21) of the first locking fastener (20), so as to accommodate the head (21) of the first locking fastener (20) to avoid physical interference when the shock absorber body (30) and the connector (10) are assembled together.
