Abstract
Method for obtaining Ag₂FeGeS₄ compound, in which powdered graphite (C), silver (Ag), chalcogenide glass (Ag₂GeS₃), mixture of starting components (Ag, FeS₂, GeS₂), and, again, graphite (C) are alternately poured into and compacted into fluoroplastic cylinder of electrochemical cell, after which fluoroplastic cylinder of electrochemical cell, protected by aluminum shield, is placed in quartz ampoule with inlet and outlet ports for argon gas, located in horizontal heating furnace, and heated in stream of dry argon at a rate of 10 cm³·x⁻¹. The arrangement of constituent components within fluoroplastic cylinder of electrochemical cell is modified. After filling and pressing mixture of starting components Ag₂GeS₃, which is taken in a molar ratio of 2:1:1, and pressed, additionally, Ag₂GeS₃ chalcogenide glass and silver (Ag) powder are added and pressed, and these are placed symmetrically relative to the synthesis zone of specified mixture of starting components, after which contents of fluoroplastic cylinder are heated and cooled over four cycles within the temperature range of 300-500 K until reproducible resistance values as a function of temperature are achieved. After the cycles are completed, constant electric current of 10 μA is passed through electrochemical cell at a temperature of 300 K for 14 days, with the current direction reversed every 2 hours.
