Abstract

Hopper car for transporting cement with composite protection consists of bogies, braking equipment, automatic couplers, a car body, loading hatches in the roof of the car body, unloading hatches, and a frame with a center beam, end beams, coupler beams, and intermediate beams. Additionally, an extra removable body protection structure is mounted on the upper part of the cement hopper car body using fasteners. The body protection is made of composite material.
