Abstract

This paper generally addresses wireless communication devices and wireless communication methods. The transmission of physical layer convergence protocol (PLCP) data units is described for wireless devices with a reduced peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). An example includes the step of receiving the first PPDU from the PPDU, which includes a data field containing data content. The second sub-PPDU can also be obtained by copying the PPDU containing the post-transmission content of the PPDU—at least one of the phase rotations, phase shift, or phase boosts applied to at least a portion of the second subcarrier set of the broadband channel. The second sub-PPDU is transmitted on the first subcarrier set of the broadband channel, and the second sub-PPDU is transmitted on the second subcarrier set of the broadband channel.
