Abstract

This invention relates to a method for receiving notifications about conditions occurring in a wireless network, a method for notifying one or more VAE clients in conjunction with the corresponding user device about conditions occurring in the wireless network, user device, computer-readable storage media, relay, and server enabling the Vehicle-everything (V2X) application enabler (VAE). A V2X UE (e.g., a wireless device) that includes a client suite enabling a vehicle-to-things (V2X) application (VAE) and a dedicated V2X application client associated with a V2X application, where the V2X UE is connected to a V2X application server that is enabled to receive messages about conditions occurring in the wireless network that connects them. The dedicated V2X application client in the UE registers with the V2X application server to receive these messages. The registration includes one or more conditions monitored by a network function (NF) in the wireless network. For example, the above condition may relate to the QoS provided by the network in a specific geographic area and / or within a specific time window, where the NF may be the network data and analytics function (NWDAF). The VAE client receives the notifications from the VAE server. The VAE client can receive notifications about the specific occurrence of a condition after the NF monitoring system detects its occurrence.
