Abstract

The invention relates to a method, system and apparatus for wireless communication at user and network devices. The described techniques are capable of providing priority signaling in scenarios where physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) - physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) are simultaneously supported. For example, wireless communication systems can create configurations (e.g., Through radio resource control (RRC) signaling (PUCCH-PUSCH) simultaneously on two or more carriers, the inclusion of feedback information on shared uplink channel transmissions may be disabled. Furthermore, the permission (e.g., downlink control information (DCI) scheduling the PUSCH transmission) may include a priority index field to indicate the priority relative to the transmission or resources scheduled by this permission. The techniques described can provide efficient handling of priority indicators associated with overlapping scheduled transmissions when simultaneous PUCCHPUSCT is supported (for example, proposed techniques for performing or discarding overlapping scheduled transmissions when simultaneous PUCCHPUSCT is allowed based on any priority indicator associated with overlapping scheduled transmissions).
