Abstract

In one respect, the user device acquires information (e.g., UE-specific information, etc.) related to a set of trigger criteria for a set of neural network functions; the set of neural network functions is configured to facilitate processing of UE position measurement characteristics; the set of neural network functions is dynamically generated based on machine learning linked to one or more historical measurement procedures; and it acquires position measurement data related to the UE's position. and determine the localization estimate for the UE based at least in part on localization measurement data and at least one neural network function from the set of neural network functions activated by at least one activation criterion from the set of activation criteria. The invention also addresses the method of operating the user device.
