Abstract

The invention proposes a cartridge that can be fitted into the main mechanism of an electro-optical imaging device, comprising: (i) a rotating developing roller for developing latent images produced on the photosensitive element; (ii) a first drive element capable of receiving rotational force from the main mechanism; (iii) a second drive element capable of coupling with the first drive element, and capable of transmitting the rotational force received by the first drive element, to the developing roller; and (iv) the coupling part includes a force-receiving part capable of receiving force from the main mechanism, and a pushing part capable of pushing into at least one of the first and second drive components by the force received by the force-receiving part, in order to separate one of the first and second drive components from the other, thereby coupling.
