Indoor mapping machines and methods for creating one or more indoor maps

Abstract

The invention relates to systems and techniques for performing map creation by means of radio frequency sensors (radio tequericy - RE). For example, the server can receive the first RF sensor dataset and the corresponding direction data for the first wireless device from multiple wireless devices. The first RF sensor dataset can be associated with at least one received waveform that is a reflection of the waveform transmitted from the first reflector. Based on the first RF sensor dataset, the direction data, and the position data corresponding to the first wireless device, an indoor map can be created that includes a reference to the reflector.
