Abstract

The invention relates to a compound that binds to a target RNA molecule, such as the ribosomal translocation TPP, a composition containing this compound, and a method for its production and use. The compound contains two structurally different fragments that allow binding to the target RNA at two different binding sites, thus creating a bond with higher strength than a compound that only binds to a single RNA binding site.
