RTB magnets and the method of manufacturing them

Abstract

The invention relates to an RTB magnet and a method for constructing such a magnet. The RTB magnet comprises the following components: R > 29% by mass, of which R is a rare earth element including Nd, in which the Nd content in all components is > 22% by mass; in the range of 0.2% to 0.75% by mass Tj+Nb; in the range of 0.05% to 0.45% by mass Cu; in the range of 0.955% to 1.15% by mass B; and in the range of 58% to 69% by mass of Fe, where % by mass is the ratio between the mass of the corresponding component and the total mass of all components; and the mass ratio of Ti to Nb as mentioned above is (1 -5):1. The invention also optimizes the coordination relationship between the elements added to the RTB magnet, and RTB magnets with better magnetic properties such as higher reluctance, coercivity and squareness can be manufactured using this formula.
