Abstract

This patent generally refers to wireless communication methods and equipment; specifically, it addresses port designation used for uplink data channel transmissions in wireless communication. In some implementations, a communication node in a wireless communication network, such as a mobile station, can receive commands to activate uplink data channel transmission. The node can identify one or more ports according to the port parameters associated with the uplink data channel. Additionally, the node can transmit uplink data channels using one or more ports.
