Abstract
The predicted pattern generation method for the current transformation block in video encoding is revealed. This method includes the following steps: the first step is to set the luma sample value on the adjacent left, determined with X equal to -1, -2, or -3, corresponding to the current transformation volume, equal to a reconstructed luma sample; the second step is to set the luma sample value on the adjacent upper left, determined with X equal to -2 and y equal to -1, corresponding to the current transformation volume, equal to the luma sample value on the adjacent left, in case the luma sample value on the adjacent upper left is not available; The first step involves inferring the sampled left-side luma value for the current transformation block by using the sampled left-side luma value and on the chromatic format; and the second step involves creating a predictive sample by using the sampled left-side luma value.
