Abstract
The proposed coating, paint, or reflective coating composition includes, by total weight of the composition: a solvent with a content ranging from 15% to 75% by weight; spherical glass particles with a content ranging from 1% to 85% by weight, with an average particle diameter D50 ranging from 1 pm to 1.50 pm, measured by laser diffraction and refractive index ranging from 1.5 to 2.8, measured at a wavelength λ = 589 nm; In which at least some of these spherical glass particles are coated with a light-reflecting semi-spherical coating; one or more thickeners with a content ranging from 0.05% to 2.5% by weight; and colored flakes with a content ranging from 0.20% to 4.5% by weight, with an average particle diameter ranging from 1 pm to 75 pm, a thickness less than 1 pm and a ratio (diameter / thickness of flakes) of at least 10; One or more flakes or granules of pigment (D) different from the synthetic pigment flakes (A), (B) and (C) with a content ranging from 0% to 2% by mass; one or more other components with a content ranging from 0% to 30% by mass, in which the combined content of these synthetic pigment flakes (A), (B) and (C) and one or more flakes or granules of pigment (D) is between 0.20% and 4.5% by mass.
