Abstract

This invention relates to a type of detergent preparation containing an alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant with 12 to 14 carbon atoms in content from 0.5% to 50% by weight; in which, the alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant with an alkyl group of 14 carbon atoms has a content of at least 50% by weight of the alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant; in which, the average degree of ethoxylation (EO) is from 2.5 to 3.5; In which, referring to the percentage by weight of all the chromated fractions in the alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant mentioned above, the content of the fraction with 1 EO unit is from 10% to 25% by weight, the fraction with 2 EO units is from 15% to 24% by weight, the fraction with 3 EO units is from 20% to 35% by weight, and the fraction with 4 EO units is from 12% to 25% by weight; and, in which, the surfactant alkyl ethoxylate sulfate with 12 to 14 carbon atoms with an alkyl chain of 15 carbon atoms or more, has a maximum content of 10% by weight; This invention also relates to a method for improving the foaming ability of this detergent by the use of the alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant specified above.
