Abstract

This invention relates to a liquid laundry preparation containing: an alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant with 12 to 14 carbon atoms in a content of 2% to 25% by weight; of which, the alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant consists of the part containing an alkyl group with 14 carbon atoms, in a content of at least 50% by weight of the alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant; of which, the average degree of ethoxylation (EO) is 2.5 to 3.5; In which, referring to the percentage by weight of all the ethoxylated fractions in the aforementioned alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant, the content of the fraction with 1 EO unit is from 10% to 25% by weight, the fraction with 2 EO units is from 15% to 24% by weight, the fraction with 3 EO units is from 20% to 35% by weight, and the fraction with 4 EO units is from 12% to 25% by weight; and, in which, the surfactant alkyl ethoxylate sulfate has 12 to 14 carbon atoms including alkyl chain molecules with 15 or more carbon atoms, with a maximum content of 10% by weight; This invention also relates to a method for increasing the viscosity of this detergent preparation by incorporating the specified alkyl ethoxylate sulfate surfactant.
