Abstract

The invention relates to a method for detecting beamforming errors, a beamforming error detection device, a beamforming error detection system, and a computer-readable storage medium. The terminal device receives the period of at least one beamforming error signal and the number N of consecutive beamforming error occurrences corresponding to the beamforming error declaration, and determines the length of the beamforming interval based on the period of receipt of at least one beamforming error signal and the number of consecutive beamforming error occurrences received. Beam detection signals are sent using beam patterns, and a beam fault is the result of each beam detection signal failing to meet a predefined condition within at least one beam detection interval. By determining the length of the beam detection interval, beam fault detection can be performed within that interval, and then a beam fault declaration is made when the condition is met, to begin the beam recovery process. According to this technical solution, the effectiveness of beamforming error detection can be implemented by determining the appropriate beamforming detection range.
