Abstract

The invention relates to methods, devices, and computer-readable storage media for decoding the acoustic data of an acoustic scene. A device comprises a processing circuit that receives first and second source acoustic data. The first source acoustic data corresponds to the space of interest within the acoustic scene, and the second source acoustic data does not correspond to the space of interest within the acoustic scene. The space of interest in an audio track is represented by at least one of the listener's space, the audio channel, or the audio quantity. The first audio source data decoding circuit is based on the space of interest.
