Automatic water fire extinguishers and the fire suppression systems containing them

Abstract

The system refers to the automatic water fire extinguisher (100) intended to be mounted on the base (42) of the pipe (40), the above fire extinguisher (100) includes: base (24A) with a through hole (26), and sealing part (28) to seal the connection between the base (42) and the through hole (26). The (24A) shall include at least two anchor points (25Λ), and the fire suppressor (100) shall include at least one clamping ring (30) including; an extension piece (31) intended to enclose a section of the pipeline (40), the extension piece (31) shall be in conjunction with the (24A) at the anchor points (25A) mentioned above, and a means (32) to adjust the length of at least one clamping ring (30) so that the fire suppressor (100) is capable of being mounted on pipelines (40) of different diameters.
