Socket connector

Abstract

The invention relates to a socket connector (1) comprising multiple contacts (2) for connecting the electrical ends of the plug and the base fitted in the electronic device; an insulating part (4) fitted with contacts (2); a sleeve (3) fitted with the insulating part (4); an outer casing (5) fitted with the sleeve (3); and a sealing gasket (6) fitted with the sleeve (3) to seal the gap between the electronic device and the sleeve (3). The sleeve (3) consists of the sleeve body (30) which is assembled with the outer sleeve (5); the support part (31) which is assembled with the sealing cushion part (6); and the support protrusion (32) which is created on the support part (31). The support section (31) protrudes forward from the outer casing (5) and is fitted with the outer casing (5) to be outside the outer casing (5), and the support section (32) protrudes outward from the support section (31) and is fitted with the support section (31) to limit the backward movement distance of the sealing element (6). The support section (31) is structured to be thicker than the thickness of the casing body (30).
