Abstract

The invention relates to a coke oven, a method for adjusting the temperature distribution in a coke oven, a method for operating a coke oven, and a method for producing coke, which can adjust the temperature distribution along the length of the oven in the combustion chamber by supplying air in appropriate amounts to the chimney so that the combustion chamber temperature is reduced. Coke oven (A) consists of: an air blower (20) connected, when operating, to a fuel supply system and an air supply system in the combustion chamber (2). With the remaining fuel supply system, air is supplied to each chimney (2a), (2b) by diverting the other fuel supply system; and the air supply calculation device (21) is configured to calculate the air flow deficit for each chimney (2a), (2b) based on the temperature measured in each chimney (2a)t (2b) in the combustion chamber (2). The air blower (20) supplies air in an amount corresponding to the air flow deficit calculated by the air supply quantity calculator (21) for chimneys (2a), (2b) with air flow deficit.
