Methods for predicting framework, decoder, encoder, and computer-readable storage media

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and apparatus for predicting internal frames, a decoder, and an encoder. The method according to the invention includes: using two or more different methods for predicting internal frames to perform internal frame predictions for the respective blocks to be processed, in order to obtain two or more types of predicted blocks; and combining, according to the weight matrix, two or more types of obtained predicted blocks, in order to obtain predicted blocks of the blocks to be processed. The proposed solution utilizes multiple in-frame prediction methods to determine multiple prediction blocks, thereby achieving predictions for complex structures, improving the quality of in-frame prediction, and consequently improving compression performance. Furthermore, the in-frame prediction method in the proposed solution uses a multi-weight matrix to ensure predictions for complex structures, thus improving the quality of in-frame prediction and consequently improving compression performance. Additionally, the invention relates to a computer-readable storage medium.
