Abstract

The invention relates to a cushion, a method and system for controlling the cushion, and a program for managing such system, in which an inner shear part (4) is created in the unheld part (2-2) adjacent to the held part (2-1) held between flanges (16-1» 16-2), and the shape of the inner shear part changes due to the load applied to the held part. Furthermore, the smallest point information is obtained based on the change in shape of the inner shear part. As a result, the change in shape of the packing material subjected to load between the flanges can be directly observed, and the observed results for tightening the packing material are used to improve the packing material and the technique for controlling the packing material.
