Bracing, mesh-type structures, and methods for positioning mesh-type structures

Abstract

The design incorporates a free-standing cross-section of a reinforced mesh structure created with metal mesh, intended for use in civil engineering protection projects. The bracing bar consists of the main structure (12, 112, 142) with the lower part (22, 122, 162) to connect with the bottom mesh plate (T) of the reinforced mesh type structure and the upper part (18, 118, 148) to connect with the covering mesh plate of the reinforced mesh type structure. The lower part (22, 122, 162) and the upper part (18, 118, 148) are connected to each other by one or more bracing bar branches (16, 116, 146, 147) arranged in the main plane of the main structure (12, 112, 142). At least one support detail (14, 114, 144) is connected to the main structure (12, 112, 142) to extend out of the main plane to generally create a three-dimensional bracing structure (10, 110, 140) that can still stand alone. The bracing can be closed for compact storage and transport and can be opened in position to position the reinforced mesh type structure.
