Methods for producing organic solvent-based products with reflective properties

Abstract

Preparation refers to the method of producing selected products from a group including pastes, inks, paints, and solvent-based coating formulations with reflective properties, which includes the following steps: a) preparation of pastes, inks, paints, or solvent-based coating formulations without reflective properties; b) Preparation of a fluorescent organic solvent base including, by total weight of the fluorescent organic solvent base preparation: organic solvent with a content ranging from 10% to 49.85% by weight; Glass particles in the form of spheres with a content ranging from 50% to 85% by mass, with an average particle diameter D50 ranging from 1 μtη to 1500 pm when measured by laser diffraction, and a refractive index ranging from 0.5 to 2.8 when measured at a wavelength λ = 589 nm; a thickening agent with a content ranging from 0.15% to 3.5% by mass; and one or more other components with a content ranging from 0% to 10% by mass; c) Mix the paste, ink, paint, or solvent-based coating formulation without reflective properties prepared in step (a) with the solvent-based coating formulation with reflective properties prepared in step (b) in a mass ratio between 30:70 and 70:30 to create a paste, ink, paint, or solvent-based coating formulation with reflective properties.
