Abstract

The invention relates to a dredging method comprising a suspension of a dredging device 200 from a transport vehicle 360. The sediment stirring device consists of a frame 210, and mounted on the frame is a suction machine, a sediment stirring device and corresponding pumps 220, 230. The dredging device 200 is positioned above, but not in contact with the water bottom 340 to dredge sediment 350. The sediment 350 is stirred sufficiently and then sucked up by the suction machine. The 200 dredging device moves around the water surface, and the 400 suctioned sediment is carried underwater and on top of the 200 dredging device, so that the 400 sediment is transported and carried out to the dredged area by the natural movement of water.
