Preparations containing dy2o3 particles

Abstract

The invention relates to moderately dispersed Dy₂O₃ particles with advantageous properties for use in the electrical and ceramics fields. The invention describes moderately dispersed Dy₂O₃ particles of uniform morphology and size ranging from 10 nm to 1 µm. The Dy₂O₃ particles may have low particle size bundles such that the difference between D₁₀ and D₉₀ is between 0.1 µm and 1 µm. The invention also describes a process for producing moderately dispersed Dy₂O₃ particles. These processes do not include a grinding step to obtain the particles.
