Abstract

The invention relates to a method of operating user equipment and network nodes. In one respect, the UE detects a collision between at least one symbol in the first and second symbol sets of the SRS-M and SRS-P configurations, respectively. The UE selects one of the SRS-M and SRS-P configurations to transmit on at least one detected collision symbol, and transmits the SRS transmission according to the selected SRS configuration on at least one detected collision symbol. From another perspective, the BS transmits the SRS-MP configuration and receives the SRS-MP transmission from the UE based on the SRS-MP configuration on at least one symbol.
