Abstract

This paper addresses the field of wireless communication, and specifically the method of transmitting physical layer data units (PPDU), communication devices and storage media readable by computers, and is specifically applied to wireless local area networks supporting the 802.11 series standards. The method includes: The station receives the activation frame from the access point. The activation frame is used to activate the station to transmit the physical layer protocol data unit based on the ultra-high throughput activation (ETH 1B PPDU). The activation frame also indicates the resource unit allocated to the station, and includes a first notification indicating that the station can transmit EHT 1B PPDU on a portion of the allocated resource unit. The station sends EHT TB PPDU based on the notification of the first notification. According to the invention's options, a portion of the multi-resource unit (MR) or resource unit (RU) is allocated to idle stations, and the other portion, when busy, the station can be supported in transmitting EHT TR PPDU on the idle portion of the RU, to improve spectral resource utilization.
